Multimedia Journalist & Writer
I am a freelance journalist, writing about arts, culture, and entertainment.
I have grown up surrounded by music and art. I was a student at Boston Ballet School from the ages of three to eighteen, and throughout high school, I was dedicating approximately 15 hours a week to training. The ballet community is deeply rooted in my identity, and even though I am not actively dancing, I find great inspiration in the art form and its artists. I also work part-time as a child supervisor for Boston Ballet's The Nutcracker, which I performed in for 8 seasons growing up. I genuinely try and return to the communities that raised me.
One of my biggest passions is music. I get this from my parents. In 2024, I attended 23 concerts, listened to 78,000 minutes of music on Spotify, and even now find myself working at MGM Music Hall Fenway, Roadrunner and The Stage at Suffolk Downs to be able to work concerts and continue to surround myself with live music. During my time writing for TrillMag, I focused on music and wrote profiles and trend stories based on current releases, festival announcements, and trends in music of interest to Gen Z readers. I knew before I started at BU that I wanted to be part of college radio wherever I went to school, and during my time at WTBU, I have been part of three on-air shows, two of which I started myself. During my time at WTBU, I also reviewed shows and interviewed artists on tour in Boston.
As an intern at Rawlins George PR and Marketing, I immersed myself in a PR role. This was a completely new experience for me, as I had no classroom experience or guidance in the field. I never expected to enjoy the work I completed during this internship as much as I did, and the experience broadened my horizons about communications and media outside of my educational foundations in journalism.
I studied abroad in my junior year in London, which is my absolute favorite city in the world. This experience enhanced my global awareness and deepened my love for travel and my sense of independence. I spent three weeks traveling alone at the end of the program, and it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
I’ve been known to travel across the country — or even internationally — for shows and music festivals. I have no sign of stopping anytime soon. I’ve been a barista in Boston for almost five years, if you ever want to connect over a coffee, let me know!
